This policy supplements the Privacy Policy at journey.com/privacy. It covers cookies, local storage, pixels, software development kits and similar technologies in Journey websites, apps and identified Journey-operated components on partner domains. A partner may deploy its own technologies under its own notice; its domain does not automatically make all processing Journey-controlled.
1. Purposes
Essential technologies support sign-in, session security, fraud prevention, consent choices, checkout and requested functions. They operate only as necessary for those purposes, and are not reclassified advertising trackers merely because they are technically useful.
Preference technologies remember optional settings. Analytics technologies measure interactions, errors and performance. Personalization and advertising technologies may select relevant offers, measure campaigns or recognize a browser/device across permitted contexts. Optional categories are enabled only with the legal basis and consent required for the user and purpose. Tracking a user across unrelated services is not essential merely because it may improve targeting.
2. Partner websites and mobile apps
Journey account sign-in on an identified partner site may use security and session technologies to authenticate you and record the partner relationship. Profile information is shared only as described in the sign-in flow and Privacy Policy. A login cookie does not give all network partners access to your account or permit unrestricted cross-site advertising.
Mobile SDKs and device identifiers may perform similar functions. Device tracking permission, where required, must be obtained separately; granting it does not replace other required consent or override a statutory privacy choice. Denying optional advertising tracking does not prevent ordinary account access.
3. Choices and transparency
Use the Cookie Preferences control on the applicable Journey surface to accept, reject or change optional categories. Where consent is required, nonessential technologies remain off until a valid choice. Rejecting optional technologies must be as accessible as accepting them. Browser settings can remove or block cookies, although essential functions may be affected. Choices may need to be set for another browser or device unless linked to your account.
We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where legally required. Use the applicable Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share control, or contact privacy@journey.com, to exercise related sale, sharing or targeted-advertising rights. A visit, scroll or general terms acceptance is not cookie consent where affirmative consent is required.
The consent interface identifies the technologies actually deployed, their provider, purpose, category and duration, including any third-party access. Session technologies expire with the relevant session; persistent technologies last for their disclosed period or until removed, subject to lawful retention of consent records. We update the inventory as deployments change and request renewed consent for material new optional purposes where required.

We give notice of material changes and do not treat a policy update as permission to activate optional tracking.
