Island Lyfe Chefs is the creation of Chef Tamla, who is classically trained with over 18 years of experience. She has worked as an Executive Chef, Private Chef, and has traveled as a freelance Chef for the PGA and owned a restaurant in St. Croix.


In Charleston, Tamla helped open Felix — a French restaurant in downtown — prior to branching out as a private chef. "People know me most for farm-to-table cuisine. I enjoy going to local markets, contacting the local fisherman, local farmers and other sources, and giving back to the community so they can keep doing what they do best."
