Chef Brendan Skiber

Chef Brendan Skiber is a dynamic force in the culinary world, blending skill, passion, and purpose into every dish he creates. Chef Brendan is a veteran of New York's elite dining scene: early on at Masa, and later as part of the opening team at The NoMad working under one of New York’s most celebrated chefs, Abram Bissell.

Chef Brendan moved west to California to join the team at Quince, immersed in the seasonality and artistry of California cuisine. He contributed to the restaurant's evolution from one Michelin star to three. Ultimately, his love for New York—and his family—called him home, leading him to his next major chapter at The Modern.

The pandemic marked a pivotal shift, inspiring him to launch a pop-up with Jiho Kim called Joomak. This experience led to the creation of Joomak Banjum, where he earned his first Michelin star. From there, he joined Maison Sun, executing successful pop-ups that culminated in a residency at the original Brooklyn Fare.
