Sushi Making Class

This will be a hands on class with everything you’ll need to know about making sushi at home. We will teach you the importance of sushi rice making, purchasing and identifying fresh fish and where to source product. We will make three styles of rolls, teach basic cutting techniques and you’ll be given a recipe hand out. We will cover everything from basic Dashi stock to make miso soup from scratch to sauces and seasonal ingredients. This class is fun, educational and extremely informative. We discuss sushi etiquette and do’s and don’ts.

Our chef have taught professionally at CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and Ramekins ( cooking school Sonoma) Bite Club ( SF) and Meritage ( Napa) . From Sushi classes( which include lunch or dinner) our classes teaching everything from the process of rice cooking to making sushi rolls. To an eight course " Omakase" chefs choice Japanese inspired seasonal menu. We also do Sake education, Laotian cooking classes and formal private classes.
