Sushi Making Class

This hands-on class has everything you need to know about making sushi at home. We make three styles of rolls, teaching cutting techniques and covering everything from Dashi stock to making miso soup from scratch to sauces and seasonal ingredients. This class is fun, educational and extremely informative. We discuss sushi etiquette and do’s and don’ts, and teach the importance of sushi rice making, purchasing and identifying fresh fish and where to source product.

Our chef have taught professionally at CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and Ramekins ( cooking school Sonoma) Bite Club ( SF) and Meritage ( Napa) . We are very passionate about teaching and education. We tailor our experiences based on your needs. From Sushi classes( which include lunch or dinner) our classes teaching everything from the process of rice cooking to making sushi rolls. To an eight course " Omakase" chefs choice Japanese inspired seasonal menu. We also do Sake education, Laotian cooking classes and formal private classes.
