Island Lyfe Chefs is the creation of Chef Tamla, who is classically trained with over 17 years of experience. She has worked as an Executive Chef, Private Chef, and has traveled as a freelance Chef for the PGA and owned a restaurant in St. Croix, USVI called the" Red Couch Café". In Charleston South Carolina, where Tamla came after living through two category five hurricanes in 2017, she helped open Felix - a French restaurant in downtown Charleston - prior to working as a Private Chef which she has been doing here for the past six years. "As a private chef, people know me most for Farm-to-Table cuisine. Everywhere you go there are different types of cuisines and I like to find out how the local cuisine is served and put my twist on it in a special way. I enjoy going to local markets, contacting the local fisherman, local farmers and other sources, and giving back to the community so they can keep doing what they do best. Our chef will brighten your pallet with delicious classic Italian dishes as well as New World fusion Italian meals. We will customize a cost dinner or family style to your choice of likings. Our server will pour wines throughout your meal, and our chef would be happy to send wine suggestions upon request. We will prepare serve and clean up, leaving. You relaxed without having to do the dishes.
