Chef Deljuan was a military brat. His many travels fed his passion for cooking. Deljuan's specialty is Southern cuisine with an international flair. He was a finalist on an episode of Chopped on the Food Network. He loves what he does and gets great pleasure when others enjoy his creations.


He was influenced by the great cooks in his family: his father, CSM Murphy, a Dining Facility Manager, and his grandfather SGM Charles Jones, a Pit Master. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts and worked at Fleet Landing as the Executive Chef. He started a YouTube cooking channel in 2019 called "Cookin' with Steez".

Relax and enjoy the expert hosting skills of your chef and his fan-favorite charcoal-grilled and glazed salmon and smoked short ribs with Eastern Carolina BBQ sauce. Gullah cuisine emphasizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients, making use of the abundant seafood, rice, vegetables and herbs available along the Carolina coast and Lowcountry. Your meal ends with Chef Deljuan's tempting key lime pie with a pecan crust and fresh seasonal berries.

Short Ribs & Salmon Feast

Relax and enjoy the expert hosting skills of Chef Deljuan and his fan-favorite charcoal-grilled salmon with wild sorghum glazes alongside eight-hour coffee smoked short ribs with Eastern Carolina BBQ sauce. The meal is served with ancho-charred Brussels sprouts, parmesan-crusted James Island tomatoes, fresh homemade rolls and a delicious blue crab purloo. Your meal ends with Chef Deljuan's tempting key lime pie with a pecan crust and fresh seasonal berries.

Salmon Feast

If you're a pescatarian or prefer eating just a little lighter, it's the same menu as above but doubling the salmon portions (no ribs).
